A Pied A Terre On The Water

Maximizing the expansive water views from almost every angle, Doreve Nicholaeff Architecture was asked to completely reconfigure the interior of this condo. The result is a light and airy space that gives the illusion of floating on the water. While the existing layout captured some views it did not take advantage of the panoramic surroundings. An open floorplan with a suspended staircase leads to the primary suite upstairs. Every detail complements the surrounding views. A floor to ceiling glass enclosed shower with windows overlooking the water provides an indoor/outdoor sensation.  Bathed in light wood flooring and warm white walls, the design team created a space that provides a feeling of transparency while maintaining privacy throughout.
